Sigmund Freud theory of understand the mind.

Hi folks,

This time we’re are going to have slightly different discussion than HR field of matter, which is the discussion of Sigmund Freud theory. The aspect of sociology of human consciousness on understanding the mind.

Sigmund Freud is a well-known founder of psychoanalysis. He invented and articulate the iceberg theory of understanding the mind. The theory explained the depth of a mind and there are three levels involved to discuss the depth.

Understanding the mind — Sigmund Freud

Level 1: Conscious mind

Conscious mind is crystal clear, which explains that all mental processes that happen through our conscious mind/ that we are aware of. The thinking process/ mental activity that undergoing through the condition in logical mind, thoughts and perception to our conscious and awareness.

Level 2: Preconscious mind

Preconscious mind is any mental activity that an individual is not aware but can be easily be brought to conscious mind if wanted and tried to recall. Memories and shared knowledge best explained about preconscious mind, where an individual able to recall and recollect memories when they wanted or tried. It means that the input and knowledge are under our knowledge and able to bring it up when we wanted.

Level 3: Unconscious mind

Unconscious mind defines that all mental process or activity that are inaccessible to the conscious mind. It explains that any activity that we are unaware of and not become aware of in any period of time. Our fears, individual selfish needs, unacceptable needs, traumatic experiences are best desccribe to unconscious mind, that we are inactively think about it.

In a nutshell, we need to recognize and address that our subconscious mind has greater influence (90%) towards our conscious mind (10%). Thus, it is important to know what we sow in our mind, consequencesly it shows in our responses, attitudes and reactions. As well there is saying best reflect the term: “You reap what you sow”.
